Indulge in a slow morning immersed in nature and creative expression at the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden.
Diane Harper will facilitate a walk in the garden, followed by a workshop using natural materials sourced directly from the site.
Aspects of composition, line, gesture, rhythm and texture will be explored as expressive tools.
The language of mark-making is vast and very personal and each participant is invited to respond in their own way to the experience of the garden.
All levels of ability are welcome.
Diane paints and draws, responding intuitively to the natural environment.She’s gained various experience within the world of art, most recently managing the Imibala galleries before joining the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden team as a guide.
Diane has a BAFine Art from UCT.
